Chuck Tobin, President

Bio

Chuck Tobin, CTM has served as President of AT-RISK International since 2003, bringing over 35 years of experience protecting people, property, and operations for clients worldwide. As President of AT-RISK International, Mr. Tobin develops best practices for the company and leads complex threat investigations, workplace violence maturity analysis consults, and executive protection risk assessments for clients. Mr. Tobin has provided protective services across the globe. He has also served as National Director of Security and consultant to the United States Presidential, Prime Minister, and international elected official campaigns around the world.

Mr. Tobin serves as President of the International Protective Security Board (IPSB) and the Chair of Standards and Guidelines on the ASIS Executive Protection Council. From 2013 to 2017, Mr. Tobin acted as President of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) and helped establish the Certified Threat Manager (CTM) credential. He earned his CTM in 2015. Mr. Tobin is the recipient of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Commissioners Medal for volunteer efforts in advancing threat assessment in the state of Florida. He co-authored a chapter in the “International Handbook of Threat Assessment vol. 2” on Protective Intelligence and Threat Assessment as well as coauthoring a chapter in “Applied Biosecurity: Global Health, Biodefense, and Developing Technologies” on threat assessment in the laboratory environments.
